This training program is designed to equip insurer case managers with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to proactively coordinate a person's claim in the workers compensation and motor accident schemes using a coordinated, multi-domain approach to injury management planning to optimise outcomes. The training program employs a blended learning approach that integrates learning modes to cater to diverse learning styles and preferences. After completing this module you should have a broad understanding of what to expect throughout this course and how to navigate the learning content. You will also discover SIRA’s role and objectives, principles of recovery through work/activity (RTW/A) including the health benefits of good work, early intervention, adopting a person – centred approach and implementing a coordinated multi-domain approach to injury management/recovery planning. This is an assessment for the Coordinated Multi-Domain Approach to Injury Management/Recovery Planning training program. The Coordinated Multi-Domain Approach to Injury Management/Recovery Planning training program aims to develop the skills and knowledge required to establish, implement and evaluate collaborative practice. This unit applies to health and community service practitioners who may collaborate on the delivery of services to individual clients, groups of clients, communities or sub-populations. They may work individually with shared clients, together with individual clients or work on projects or programs that address the needs of groups or sub-populations. This is an assessment for the Person-Centred Case Management training program. The Person-Centred Case Management training program aims to develop the skills and knowledge required to plan and implement Injury Management Plans(IMP)/Recovery Plans including Recovery Through Work/Activity (RTW/A) strategies for recipients of personal injury benefits (a person with an injury). It includes applying specific knowledge of rehabilitation processes, injury management models and legislation, along with strong case management, analytical and person-centred service skills. It applies to those who work in the personal injury management sector, who coordinate multiple tasks and make judgements regarding recommended actions and case management across a broad spectrum of claims.
